It has been said that all "Mission" furniture looks alike. It does.... in photographs and on the web. |
Texture, color and especially construction must be seen first hand. |
This Portfolio is intended to present my work "so far" and as the work changes and develops this Portfolio will illustrate those changes. |
| My furniture is meant to be functional and not just a piece of art that is nice to look at. |
I encourage practical suggestions that will assist me in making a piece that is not only beautiful, but also serviceable to you. |
Thank you for looking at my work. |

Restoring History |
| Most furniture can be described as a style - often a blend of styles. My work is influenced by the strong, clean lines of the Arts & Crafts movement, as exemplified by Stickley, Greene & Greene, the Roycrofters and others. I'm drawn to classic American-made heirlooms, the uncluttered look of Mission furniture, and the fluid spirit of Japanese design. When one of these styles is reproduced properly, it can take you back--to when superb craftsmanship was the norm. My Warrantee These fine Heirloom Quality pieces are custom made, therefore all sales are final. With regard to workmanship, joinery and finish, I stand behind the products I make and sell. The majority of my pieces are indoor furniture therefore, unless otherwise specified, (i.e. outdoor furniture) these pieces are intended for normal indoor use at ambient household environments. Should my work fail under these conditions because of workmanship or material, I will make adjustments on a case by case basis. I cannot warrantee the normal splits or checks that occur in solid wood and some customer requested design modifications may be excluded. Please refer to "Care and Protection" on this web site or on the tag received with your furniture to protect the surfaces of your fine furniture. |
