Originally a custom order it is now part of the permanent collection, featuring the 'Cloud Lift' motif.

This table measures 44" wide by 22" deep by 18" high. The lower shelf measures 81/2" wide.

The Lounge Table:
Co-designed with Steve Bussiere, boatbuilder and owner of The Little Boat Shop, this table has some "nautical" features. Aside from the obvious use of teak and mahogany the top features a technique called "apparent thickness" or a gentle "fairing off" of the underside of the tabletop. A gentle arc is created that follows the lines of the "Cloud Lift Motif". As for the name of the table, Steve is also an instructor of improvisational Jazz, so this table now resides with his piano in his "Soprano Lounge".

Made with patterned mahogany and teak with a hand rubbed finish of (8) coats of tung oil and varnish.
