The Folding Screen In Quarter Sawn White Oak
This Folding Screen consists of 3 panels with
each panel being 20" (W) by 60" (H). Holding the fabric (client
supplied) are 1/4" bronze rods and the double action bronze hinges
round out the hardware. The lower panels are butterfly jointed.
Made with quarter-sawn white oak. The finish (not fumed) has six coats of shellac (french polishing) and two coats of varnish (all hand rubbed). The process is completed with two coats of Butcher's or Bri wax and a final buffing for a lustrous shine.
