Custon Designed Stools
This stool measures 25" high and 20" x 21" deep. The actual seat area is 18" x 16".
The seat is a "hand woven rush slip-seat"
These stools
are a custom design for a client who sent me a photo of an L&J.G. Stickley
table that he owns and asked me to create stools to "work" with
the table.
Made with quarter-sawn
white oak.
The finish has six coats of
shellac (french polishing) and two coats of varnish (all hand rubbed).
The process is completed with two coats of Butcher's or Bri wax and a
final buffing for a lustrous shine.
