Gus Magazine Stand #79
This is a Stickley (custom) reproduction.
This custom version of the Gus Magazine Stand # 79 was designed to suit the needs of a client (Tim) in Portland Oregon as a Christmas gift for his wife Anna.
The Stand measures 20" wide by 10" deep by 40" high. With 4 fixed shelves (top and bottom shelf are thru tenoned).
Tim's wife was very happy with her gift Christmas morning and I was pleased to receive an e-mail from her later that day.

Made with quarter-sawn white oak. The finish is fumed followed by six coats of shellac (french polishing) and two coats of varnish (all hand rubbed). The process is completed with two coats of Butcher's or Bri wax and a final buffing for a lustrous shine.
Middle shelves can be customized to be adjustable.
Also available in aged cherry and natural cherry.
